Seven months in

August 14, 20263 min read

Seven months in, the honest update is that most of what we set out to do has held up. Fewer clients than a bigger agency would take. Every brief run directly, no handoffs. The parts of the job that felt like they'd be the hardest to protect — staying hands-on as things got busier — have mostly stayed intact, because we built the model around that constraint instead of hoping to defend it later.

What's changed is smaller than I expected. The work has gotten more specific: better briefs, tighter creator selection, more comfort saying no to a fit that isn't right rather than filling a roster. None of that shows up on a website. It shows up in the campaigns.

Nothing here is a milestone announcement. It's just where things stand, written down honestly, the way we'd want a partner to talk to us.
